This is a pilot
This is a demonstration pilot of an application built for People Minded Business (PMB) by Jerts Consulting Inc. Features and content may change as the pilot develops.
While the pilot runs it is temporarily hosted by Jerts at an address on jerts.com. That is a hosting arrangement for the pilot only - it does not make this a Jerts product, and it does not make the content ours. If the work continues past the pilot, where it lives is PMB’s decision.
What is collected
Personal details you give us. If you add an initiative, or use the buttons to register interest, the app collects your name, email address and organisation.
The initiative and organisation information you type into the app.
Every question you ask, stored with the date and time you asked it. This is deliberate: a record of what the sector asked is one of the things the pilot exists to produce. Treat anything you type as recorded, not transient.
Basic technical information needed to run the service, such as access times and error logs.
Who owns it
PMB. Jerts does not own the content you submit and does not use it for its own purposes.
How it is processed
The pilot runs on Microsoft Azure infrastructure operated by Jerts Consulting Inc. on PMB’s behalf, in Canada.
The text you submit is sent to Microsoft Azure OpenAI to generate answers. This is how the app answers questions about the sector map. Your submitted content leaves this application for that purpose.
Who can see it
People with the access code for this pilot can use the app.
PMB administrators have a dashboard that shows recent questions in full, exactly as they were typed, and can export every question to a spreadsheet.
Jerts technical staff can access the database, because Jerts operates it on PMB’s behalf. We access it to run and support the service, not to read your content for our own purposes.
How long it is kept
Jerts holds the information only for the duration of the pilot, and returns or deletes it afterwards. PMB decides what happens to it after that; any longer-term retention is PMB’s.
What not to enter
The app asks for your own contact details where it needs them. Beyond that, please avoid entering other people’s personal information, or confidential material, unless it is genuinely needed to describe the work - and remember that your questions are stored and readable by PMB administrators.
